I’ve had such a busy Christmas Flower Workshop season and thought I’d share some of the pictures from my series of Living Christmas Wreath Workshops (in Leicestershire). I’m currently planning for the festive season 2023 of bigger and better from listening ti customer feedback and following current and future home decor trends.
If you follow my socials then you’ll know that I’ve recently completed the build, fit out and furnish of my new flower studio, wedding flower meeting, classroom and workspace. The upstairs is where I can and do host Live Wreath workshops and flower workshops (we had a great flower crown wreath workshop in the summer) plus the upcoming Flower School and the downstairs is where I prep for Wedding and Funeral Flowers – We’ve had busy seasons with both including working and partnership with nearby Wedding venue Shearsby Bath (Leicestershire).
With full surround sound (lots of Buble and Mariah have been played this year!), WC, car parking facilities, Wifi (air conditioning for the summer heatwaves) and a barista coffee machine I’m well in my element and want to share my space and expertise with you. Christmas 2022 just gone proved that.
Check out a couple of the results on the pictures below, the red apples are my favourite and I’ve had lots of stock in my baskets for wreath decorations. Anything red, bells, stars, baubles and feather related seemed very popular this year. Mulled wine and mince pies (both traditional and Viennese topped) were served, some by candle light.
We worked hard and got the Christmas trees in place in time for the November and December workshops, each customer also got to wear their own Flowers by Stephanie logo apron and was given a pair of secateurs to use. These are used to trim foliage into the bunches used to put in the wires for the wreath making. It makes more sense when you’re in the class and you’ve seen my demonstration!
Here are a few of the nice things that the ladies (and men!) had to say about my Christmas Wreath Workshops for 2022…
“We love the new studio, it’s very classy and there are lots of choices of foliage and decorations for my Christmas Wreath. All very well set up. Well done.”
“You are very well spoken. You taught and explained with expert knowledge. Thank you – We will see you next year…”
“It’s very exciting to be shown how to make a Christmas Wreath from the expert maker of Number 10 Downing Street (times 2!).”
