I had the pleasure of attending a Spring hand tie bouquet flower workshop with Flowers by Stephanie in Shearsby, Leicestershire and it was a wonderful experience that I thoroughly enjoyed.
The workshop was held in a beautiful countryside location, and upon arrival, we were greeted with a warm welcome by Stephanie herself. The setting was lovely, with fresh flowers and foliage everywhere, giving the impression that we were about to embark on a magical journey of floral discovery.
Stephanie started the workshop by introducing us to the flowers and foliage that we would be using for our hand tie bouquets. She gave us tips on how to choose the best flowers and foliage, how to arrange them, and how to create a beautiful and balanced bouquet. She also demonstrated different techniques for tying the bouquet, which were all very helpful.
We were then given the opportunity to choose our own flowers and foliage to create our own unique hand tie bouquet. This was the most enjoyable part of the workshop, as we were able to get creative and experiment with different combinations of flowers and foliage. Stephanie was on hand to give advice and guidance throughout, and it was great to see how everyone’s bouquets turned out so differently.
To make the experience even more special, a delicious cake was served halfway through the workshop. It was a lovely touch that made us all feel even more relaxed and at ease.
At the end of the workshop, we were all very proud of our beautiful hand tie bouquets and posed for photos for our family and friends (many of us were going to give the bouquets for Mother’s Day to aunties, friends and the like), which we were able to take home and enjoy. The whole experience was so much fun and informative, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves flowers or is interested in learning more about floral arrangements.
